a competitive, all-commons format of Magic: the Gathering
Need help from the people who should know better than me (-> paper pauper)

im from hamburg germany. im currently setting up a pauper playgroup around here. i know its originaly a magic online format but that wont keep me from play paper pauper. the intrest here has been suprisingly high, the very low budget of the decks and the stunny diversety has pull many players.
we are now stearing firmly towards our first tournament of classic paper pauper. suddenly a problem presented itself to me. what banned list do i use ? the magic online pauper baned list could be a starting point but will just banning cranial plating do the job. the format is quiet diffrent from online classic pauper. here are some of the problems im struggeling with:
commons that cost over 30$ a pice (sinkhole) not very pauper like.
threats not avalible online that have a relavent impact on the format (atog, ornythopter, rancor, priest of titania, hymn to torach etc.)
possibly solutions not avalible online (havent checked them excessevly jet)
commons that are unbanned /unrestricted in classic pauper online (gush) but banned / restricted in normal eternal formats as well as cards that are banned restricted in normal eternal formats that are not avalible online (frantic search)
all in all there are a lot of cards i have to consider that have absolutly no relavance online either because they are not avlible in online pauper or because they lack cards that bring them to thier fullest potential (e.g. disciple of the vaul -> atog)
i dont know if anyone here has experiances with paper pauper but using online pauper as a staring point what needs to be banned in calssic paper pauper? should there be a restrict list ? are there solutions that could possibly justyfy an unbanning of cranial plating (i think not but who knows ^^)?
thankful for every constructiv input ... realy want to get our first tournament on its way but i dont feel good about not having a banned list.
